WITH AIR APP : 

 

User is trying to change the wifi settings of the Air unit using Air App. 

But the settings are not getting successfully changed : 


  • Be on call and ask the user to perform the entire process
  • Make sure the user selects the Correct room in Room settings.
  • Make sure the new wifi router is not WEP. In case it is WEP, then router settings need to be changed to WPA/WPA2
  • Make sure the user is connected to Air unit's wifi throughout the process.
  • Make sure the user is entering the correct password.
  • Once the wifi settings are successfully changed, Air unit should reboot on its own and finally glow deep blue.


WITH CONFIGURATION APP : 


If still the settings don't get changed, they need to be changed using Air Configuration App.

Assign Job>>Technical Service>>Device Configuration.

Select the option : Wifi Settings.


FROM SERVER : 

If by above two mechanisms, wifi settings still could not be changed, then you need to bring the Air unit anyhow online (try configuring with a mobile hotspot).

Carefully note the SSID and Password from the user and then change the Air unit's wifi settings from the server.

NOTE : Please make sure that SSID (all characters) and password are correct before proceeding with this method.
